Thinking that this will be my fourth CrossFit Games experience with the Paleo Nick's food booth is mind-boggling. It seems like only yesterday that we launched this ship at the 2014 Games. So much has changed since then, including the venue this year as we descend on Madison, Wisconsin.
This year, we add Ice Age Meals to the mix and we've got a lot of fun things planned. With the new venue come many unknowns, but they'll all be worked out over the next 10 days. We have a crew of 30 people flying in to slang meals and teach the CrossFit Community more about our mission. I'm excited and I hope you are too.
After months of planning, we loaded up a truck in Reno, NV on Tuesday and it arrived in Madison, WI yesterday. Our crew flew into Milwaukee, picked up two reefer trucks, and drove into the "Capital City" from the east. We worked diligently to unload the truck and knocked it out in just under two hours. Our boy, Robbie, gave me the peace sign as he headed on down the road. He is from North Carolina and wanted to make sure we didn't load any humans in the trailer due to the recent happenings in San Antonio...
We tidied up our stuff, checked in to our hotel, hit up Ian's Pizza, and then called it a night.
After some much needed rest, we are up and at 'em. Today, we continue the journey of bringing our meals and our mission to the midwest. We've got some fun things in store and some killer deals on meals, so be sure to stay tuned. If you happen to be coming to Madison next week, be sure to stop by and say hello. At the very least, take a shot at our softball-milk can challenge for a chance to win a 14-pack of Paleo goodness...
Until then, "Keep It Paleo!"
Christmas is less than two week away!!!
Among all of the noise and commercialization, Nick brings a message of hope just in time!
It happens to be in the form of a rhyme...
